[ People tend to be like that, thinking they have to follow all these invisible arbitrary rules, but the one thing Kano appreciates feys and daemons for is their interpretation of these rules they're held to but find ways around. That sort of things is easy to understand; if only more people could be like that, standing back and deciding objectively what the simplest course of action is.
Kano hates heights. He hates riding in anything that moves. But he still laughs and reaches his arms up too for Wist to help him onto the door, even though his stomach churns to be leaving solid ground, even though he's been thrown down the stairs before and that wasn't any fun and nobody in their right mind would trust a fey to take them on a joy ride-- but he still gets on and takes a seat instead of standing, legs hanging over the front edge of the door so he can let them hang and kick. ]
