Even with the French subtitles, they plow on far too fast for his already poor grasp of the language. But the pictures? The pictures are not good... He's immediately gripped with a swell of fear.
He goes back, finding the replies and there's... a lot of them. They all seem to say the same thing and as he goes that jolt of fear is replaced. Mostly. The old anger that comes up isn't quite enough to ease his nervousness with making an open statement about it like this but...]
While this was obviously... not the way to do this and it's good this is being taken down... perhaps this isn't a discussion we have to entirely shut down in the safety of the school?
I mean, a lot of people's first introduction into this world is through really terrible means that wouldn't nearly be so bad if there were any way for those on the outside to be aware of it. And there's a lot of other restrictions and complications with families... Of course there's dangers in stepping forward but that's the case with so many different things like some people don't like people from other countries or with different orientations or things like that, and yeah there's all those things about what happened in the past but nowadays it seems there's more of us getting hurt by other people on the inside because we're trying so hard to keep this secret.
Maybe... a voluntary stepping forward by a lot of us in this community wouldn't necessarily be... entirely a bad thing?
