If I gotta die, I want it something that'd be put down as 'Death by Misadventure', or 'The hero sails off into the unknown, what happened? nobody knows, someone will try to find out in a hundred years' kind of deal? Leaving a story behind sounds like the way to go.
But as for that, I think some of them - it's not they're making us forget, it's - this is just what I pick up from them - it's their way of assuring us we'll make it, 'you got to have something for when we're done - math will more likely make you money than swinging a sword around', that kind of thing?
