its actually really easy to substitute magical excuses with the mundane without changing the story you were meeting someone important somewhere you shouldn't have been this guy showed up who had a problem with you you and i attempted to de-escalate the situation but more problems arose your friend showed up however the two had history and things resolved from there unfortunately there were some injuries along the way
