So hang on. I enrolled the day AFTER there was a thrilling battle against demon commanders in the middle of a school dance?! I can't believe how unfair this is. I've known about this place for two days and I'm already missing all the coolest stuff. Someone fill me in on the details! What were the demons like? How did you beat them?

Kind of? I found out I had magical abilities a few months ago, but I didn't know about the whole bigger picture until yesterday.

Yep! This time yesterday, I had no idea this school even existed.

I had a little more panic when I learned about Nightfall and everything else. I'd like to pretend this is because I'm a wise teacher, but I'm afraid I would be plastering over what amounted to a small temper tantrum.

The demons were your typical sort. Soldiers. A handful of commanders. They must have honestly thought they were going to take us by surprise.

As for how we beat them, well... let's say that it was messy enough to make an example.

Imagine the kind of example a demon needs to take a hint.

Well, several reasons: Most of them are exiles so they would be killed if they returned, and secondly our Janitor scares the hell out of them.

One these guys looked pretty fuckin' fireproof and Two there are like a zillion different kinds of daemons. I dont think youre taking this entirely seriously
