I'm going to take commissions for suits and dresses! I know we have a lot of people on campus who have unconventional body shapes, and that probably makes shopping in town pretty tough. But I think I can manage to sew something nice for anyone who needs it!

Mostly I just need the money to cover materials, so it shouldn't be too expensive unless you want really expensive fabric. The extra pocket money wouldn't hurt, of course, ha ha! Swaps are okay too if you can make something you think I'd need.

Let me know! I'll need at least a week or two of advanced notice so I have plenty of time to work on projects between classes and assignments.

If there really is going to be a ball, then I hope to see everyone there!

I guess anything nicer than what you'd usually wear to class. But honestly I'm not sure! This will be my first big social event since coming here, so my expectations might be very different from reality.

Purple would be a great color for you! I'll make it! Do you want to come with me to the fabric store on the weekend so you can choose which materials I use? There won't be too many varieties of purple probably but that just means you won't be overwhelmed with indecision.
