But I was hoping to get some tips beforehand, so we can all ride safely, etc etc!!!!

Oh! You should hold on really tight so you dont fall off!
And you should wear protective stuff!
You should make sure you can put your feet on the ground while on the bike too!! It helps you balance before you start!!

you're in the process of falling off, which would be better?
To hang on really tight?
Or to let go??

You should hang on really tight!!
If you let go you'll slide really far!! You might go into someplace bad, or even hit someone else!!

And your bike will go somewhere else too and you'll have to run after it again!!

So you should definitely not let go!

So it's worth it to tie one's hands to the handlebars to help with their grip??????!!!?!?
