Hee hee hee...
Hello again!
Look, original lady that Jasmine came from!
I don't know
if I ever got your name, but
I got a real account this time!!
Poe just reminded me it exists!
He's been
holding out on me!

It's me! Wist!
Yeah!!

Nice to meet you all again,
but
it would be even nicer
if someone could come let me out of my designated living box??
I'm starting to get hungry...
And besides that,
it's really hard to watch over kids
when I'm stuck in here!

You're stuck in your bedroom.

Is the door locked? You can unlock them from the inside, you know.

If I can open it, then why can't you?

[It's probably a good thing Wist can't hear the long sigh that Imelda gives.]

Which room are you in? I'll come let you out.

[She's going to start over to Aube, but also...]

206?

You're an RA?

Yes, I understand that.

But you've been hired as an RA? A Resident Assistant?

Is that what you're talking about? Taking care of kids?

[This school... Sometimes Imelda very seriously questions its hiring decisions...]

Well, first you should worry about learning how to open a door. You can't take care of children if you can't take care of yourself.

[Ay, dios mío...]

Our lungs are connected, Wist. They are functionally a single capacity. But we have two so that if one is damaged or ill, there is another that can perform the same function with half the efficiency. If we only had one lung, then we would run out of air even faster.

But more importantly, I hope all of this choking talk has been hypothetical? And no one is presently choking?

Close. Hypothetical means in theory.

Meaning, you are speaking about the possibility of someone choking, and not someone that has been or is presently choking.

[Oh thank heavens... Though the addendum isn't all that comforting.]

And how did you answer?

[That...does not sound like a good plan to her. But she's at least starting to catch on that this is an issue of permission... so probably some weird fae thing.]

As an RA, wouldn't you have permission from the academy to enter a student's room in the case of an emergency? Or does the occupant of the room have to give you permission?

[That does not sound all that fine to her...]

I would get in contact with the other RAs in your dorm. If there is an emergency that you do not have the permission to access, they should be aware that they may need to help you.
