[True to his word, D shows up after a little while at Wist's room with a pâtisserie box in hand. If there's still a door on the room, he'll knock, but otherwise he'll peer inside to see if the resident is still in.]

[Wist nods firmly as they read this, finding it to be the most sensible thing they've heard all day. Who WOULD joke about pie? Only someone really terrible, and Wist doesn't know anyone really, really terrible.

For the sake of simplicity, let's go ahead and say that there is currently no door, and the first Wist D sees is actually Poe, borrowing their form so they can more easily play their computer game. The real Wist is quick to sit up from a pile of blankets, sheets, and curtains they've tangled into a nest in the corner, though.]

Count D! Hello! Did you bring me pie? What flavor?

[D smiles at the sight of Poe-Wist, though he doesn't extend a greeting just yet. It's only after Wist proper has sat up that he gestures to the box in his hand.]

Hello Wist, Poe. I brought the three of us some apple pie. It's a nice day to have a picnic outside--or right here in your new room, if you like.

[Apple pie...! That's a good one.]

Outside, outside! Picnics are the best when they're in the warm sun.

[So D will wait at the door while Wist and Poe gather themselves up however they intend to, and he'll more than happily escort them out to a patio table outside... while opening whatever doors Wist needs in the meantime.]

[Poe is reluctant to go, after sitting in queue for a while, but since he isn't actually busy right that second, it's hard to ignore Wists's nagging. He slouches back into cat form so that he can sprawl across their shoulders, blinking warmly at D in greeting. 'Sup.

Wist's steps are long and bouncy.]

Hey, hey. It's so funny that humans keep saying you have to be dedicated to your work, isn't it? No fun allowed! Work until you've earned your vacation! But you have lots of fun while being dedicated, and you're spending time with me. You'd think that with their shorter lifespans, they'd try to live a little more than they do.
