And today happens to be the day before PROM!!! Crazy timing, right?

Soooo, I was wondering if anyone would mind showing me where the nearest dress shop is? And maybe even help me pick out something to wear? Pretty please with a Maraschino cherry on top? <3

I promise I'll find a way to pay you back! I'll even save a dance for you tomorrow night, and I've been told my dancing is pretty awesome!!!!

Sounds like a plan! ... So, what's all this about a Herald? I was told about it when I got here, but I don't really know the details.

Apparently he's like...real bad news. A big figure in the upcoming Nightfall, so...Obviously we've got to take him out, stop him from making everything worse.

[She sighs.]

It's just a lot.

Hmm.

[ she seems to contemplate this for a moment, then: ]

I think we can do it.

[Adelaide brightens at that, and she nods.]

I think we can. There's so many of us, and we can do so much...The Herald doesn't stand a chance.

[rwbyrose]

Yup!

[ ruby says this like there's absolutely no problem at all. she nods. ]

We were all brought here to stop Nightfall. This is just a small bump in the road we gotta take care of!

[Adelaide pumps her fists a little bit.]

Exactly! It might be scary, but...it's doable. Definitely doable.

Now...do you want to check out the cafeteria or library next?

[ is that a tummy rumble? yep, it's a tummy rumble. ]

Heh...sorry, guess I forgot to eat today... Mind if we grab something for lunch?

It's okay! Happens to all of us - and of course we can! The food there is pretty spectacular.

[ walking to the cafeteria... ] Sooo... How long have you been here?

Since about...mid February? It hasn't been that long, but it feels like ages.

[And she's opening the door to the cafeteria!]

That's still a lot longer than I've been here! Obviously.

[ oooh....the cafeteria smells pretty good... ]

So! What's the best food they've got around here?

Just a bit.

[She grins - and just might be the worst person to ask that.]

Is it a cop out to say all of it? Because all of the food they have here is pretty amazing.

Maybe a little, but that's promising!

[ she's going to just. make a beeline for the sweets, actually. ]

And this, and this one...ooh, they have brownies too!

Not that Adelaide is going to complain about it. Any excuse to eat cookies she'll take.]

You should try the macarons. They're really good.

[ scratches chin. sounds fake. ]

[ and she starts filling her tray with macarons.... ]

[ god, there are SO many macarons. but she does get a sandwich, too, and settles on that before checking out and finding a table for them. ]

Adelaide does get herself something, though it's just a bottle of water. She'll eat later, probably.]

I think most of the tables are free. Guess it's kind of a weird time, huh?
