[ she starts murmuring directions to herself, trying to remember exactly how she got to the marketplace. it's fine. they got this. ]

Sooo, how's your first day going so far?

[ She laughs a little, and she has a tiny bounce in her step as she follows. ]

It's great! I've never been in a place like this, you know? Everything seems so bright and hopeful. I'm really excited!

It sure feels that way, doesn't it? So many opportunities, so many new people...!

[ she sounds equally as excited about this! ]

It's a lot better than regular school. It's everything I could have dreamed of...

Yeah! I'm excited to meet them all!

[ she grins and turns a corner, and...ah! the marketplace is up ahead, but they still have a little more of a ways to go. ]

I thought I was gonna go my entire school career without going to prom, but something about Daybreak makes me feel like I can enjoy it.

Oh my gosh, you've never been to prom? We've got to make it the best ever for you!

Nope! I just, ah...didn't feel like going, heh!

But I'm totally looking forward to tonight!
