Good afternoon, Daybreak. My name is Asami Sato, and I'm a new Graduate student and Teacher's Aide on campus. You're all probably familiar with Mr. David Xanatos as well. We know there's a lot going on right now, so we wanted to plan something optional but enjoyable for everyone as a way to take some time off from what's happening and have some fun.

The morning of July 4th, we'll be going to the Big Lagoon Water Park just outside of Soleil. David will be covering all expenses so there's no need to worry about any admission fees.

Again, we know that a lot's happened, so attendance is entirely optional. Just let us know if you're interested so we can get a head count and order tickets ASAP.

Hard to say. It really depends on how people want to cope with everything that's happening.

With how the cover-up went... perhaps the wish to end the secrecy isn't as foolish as first thought. But then again, it may end up even worse should the veil go down.

Right, and it doesn't help that many of the buildings are without air conditioning, either.

It's nice meeting you as well. My own father had nothing but praise for Future Industry and Hiroshi Sato.

[Not mentioned is that Asami was often used as an example of what not to be, one that Weiss failed spectacularly at taking to heart.]

I'd like to come along to the waterpark. Swimming is out for me, since I have my arm in a sling, but shallow water is still a good reprieve from all the tension :)

And I'm fine. Magical healing is making this way less of an ordeal than it might have been at home. I'm pretty impressed by it.

It really is impressive, isn't it? I wouldn't have ever imagined something like that could be possible until I was exposed to magic. Not even technological advances have come this far yet.

Maybe it was worth breaking an arm to experience it first hand. (It wasn't, but still cool.)

I remember friends walking around with their arms in casts for weeks and even though we're a small town, I don't think the local hospital was bad.

It definitely wasn't. Even if it was cool.

It definitely wasn't, but there's something about magic that makes the healing process really fascinating. It makes me wonder if we can channel some of that into man-made equipment...

[ the inventor in her is coming out, obviously. ]

Anyway, before I start rambling, we should catch up sometime! I'd love to hear about what you've been up to here. :)

Well, I'll definitely be at the water park, swimming or not!

Healing equipment could be a real game-changer though. Casts that heal automatically without the presence of a healer could save a lot of time on a battlefield.
