[Guess who's gotten back from the Outlands after an experience, it's Kisara.]

I have a really weird question! First off, is there anyone here who, um, might have an idea about how reincarnation works? I have some questions, if you do, which I'd prefer to talk about in person.

Other than that, while I was out, I came across an abandoned village that... evidently was where my kind had been living previously. And I found a baby out there, who I... might have brought with me. Since we've... lost the person I think would be best qualified to check him out, is there anyone else who knows anything about mythical creatures that could make sure he's okay? I know a bit, but I just... want to make sure?

And before anyone asks, yes, yes I did take a picture of him. [Which she'll kindly attach to this post, poor thing's about the size of a damn chihuahua.]

Isn't he, though? He's such a little sweetheart, too. I'm... pretty sure he's a baby still, about a year old or so. No idea how big he'll get, but I can take a few guesses.

He really is. And those eyes are a really bright, clear blue. I've never seen anything quite like it.

...So, do you figure the size of a person, or like a house? I remember Hiccup talking about how wildly different in size drakes and dragons can get.

Really handsome, honestly.

I mean, it depends? I know that he's from the same clan I'm from, but even then size varies wildly between us. I don't even know if my dragon form is full-sized yet. One of the prints I saw was... probably about the size of a house, if not bigger.

Who knows.

So he's a growing boy with a long way to go.

Either way, he's got a good home here, between you to look after him and I'm sure the Academy will help if he needs anything special. ...And actually, he kinda matches the school colors, doesn't he?

I guess that's true, I'm not about to let anything happen to him if I can help it. And it's certainly better being here than stranded in the Outlands having to fend for yourself.

... Does he really? I actually hadn't noticed the school colors. Huh. Maybe that'll help out for the future.

It's a lot better for sure. He won't be alone, and I'm pretty sure with a face like that, everyone will want to try to keep him safe.

[Seriously, you'd have to have a heart of ice to think that dragonling wasn't worth protecting. At least around here, anyway... GV wasn't so sure about the rest of the world after some of the things he's seen recently.]

By the way, does the little guy have a name yet?

I sure hope so, he's... pretty independent even as a baby, so I'm sure he'll make friends here easily enough.

I... think I've settled on Hosni for him. [You literally named him handsome, congrats, Kisara.]

By all means! I have no plans on going anywhere else until school starts back up again. So I'll... be here.

Ah, no, though I can see where the confusion comes from! I'm... not really human, so I guess that didn't really translate to those who don't know me. He's very much a baby dragon.

Does that mean he's going to grow up to look like you?

I'm honestly not sure, dragons can be various sizes just depending on the dragon, a lot like humans. That and... he's several generations separated from me and I don't know if sizes have changed since then.

Generations? You're that old and still have to go to school?

It's... a long story. That I honestly don't entirely understand myself. As far as I'm aware, my current body is seventeen?

It truly, truly is. But I admit this time is a lot more fascinating than the one I remember before.

They do say interesting times are the most dangerous, and we are facing the end of the world, so...

It's certainly not set in stone, nor would it be the first time I've faced high stakes like this. [You kind of died last time, Kisara.]

That is true. After all, fate has brought us here to defy the danger, has it not?

Fate. For some reason we're here, whether it's to hasten our downfall or to stop it, we've yet to really see.

Isn't that the same as anything, though? Fate is what comes to pass; we cannot truly know beforehand.

I suppose it would depend on if you think fate is kind or cruel, or has any morality at all, right?

That's always a difficult one. We must all suffer, but we do it to protect the world because we must. Some people just can't be normal.

Tell me about it, I'm all too aware of not being able to be normal. [Kisara, you never had a chance at being normal.]

That's part of it. Also my appearance as a human is... questionable with the area I'm from?

I did! That's.... the only place you can really find any of my kind to begin with. It's still probably safer for him here.

I'm afraid I don't know too much about mythical creatures myself, but I do hope you'll be able to find the answers you seek.

Honestly, he found me more than I found him. I suppose I smelled similar enough for him to think I was there for him.
