Hello,

You're receiving this message because you are friends with Héctor Rivera in some capacity or another. I'm planning to throw him a surprise birthday party on the 30th of this month, and you're all welcome to attend. The party will begin at sundown and will be held on the first floor common room in Aube. If you'd like to help decorate or prepare food, please arrive at 3pm instead. There will be drinks for those who are old enough to drink--please be responsible. Presents are welcome, but are not required.

If I'm missing any other friends of Héctor's from this list, please let me know. And remember, this is a surprise, so please don't mention it to him.

Okay, I'll be there. What do you think he'd like for a present? I could draw a card, too.

I'm sure he'll like whatever you get him. He's very sentimental like that. Even more so if it's something that someone put their own time and energy into.

Actually...

If you have a picture of Coco and if it's not too personal, I could probably draw her on the card. I know he'd like that for sure. Don't worry, if it turns out hideous I'll think of something else.

I have a number of pictures of Coco. Are you sure you don't want to draw a picture of yourself? You're the one giving the card, after all, and I'm sure he'd like that as well.

I can help you cook and decorate. Just let me know if you need me to buy anything special for it.

Actually, if there's any drinks you'd like to bring, you're more than welcome to bring those. The food is more for the guests than for Héctor, so I'm sure he'd appreciate having a variety of spirits to share.

Drinks? I'll see what I can do on that front. [ He doesn't really...drink, but he's had enough experience with social events to pick out what people normally like to drink.

Not that he's going to push too hard on that front. He's fairly certain children will be there, so. ]

well, i had a humidifier.

This might be a strange question, but do you still keep your guitar in your room?

On the weekends. I keep it in one of the lockers in the music building most of the time. My keyboard and cello are in my room.
