how much time needs to pass for grave robbing to become archaeology? like, if i pull a gold bracelet out of a pyramid, i've made an archaeological find. if i pull one out of the common graveyard, i'm a dick. whats the waiting period for looting the dead?

they werent created as a cursed object but they became cursed due to memes. society shapes everything! no one was afraid of furbies before ppl thought they were cursed!

I'm sure someone was. Every child with access to movies has one or two perfectly safe films they're terrified of. My neighbour got nightmares from that one about the Russian mice. Toys not intended to be scary must be the same.

yep. if enough people become scared of that same thing, then it becomes “a curse”, even if its the most mundane thing.

I'm still not entirely certain I subscribe to your quantum charm theory, though I know some mages believe something like it. Do you suppose that every grave is cursed, in that case?

i don’t! but the belief of one person won’t change what everyone else thinks.

not sure! but how many tall buildings have a 13th floor or a room 13? same concept.

So you're saying that on top of memes, superstitions all come true too. Is anything fake to you?

not really? anything is possible if you really put your mind to it. but i guess things from chain mails are pretty fake, so there's that.
