Starting up a club~ UN: FINALBOSSY

Desco has a big announcement for everyone! Over the next few days, she will be filing the paperwork to start up a brand new club! While training and studying are important, Desco also knows the value of fun! So the club she will be starting is a gaming club! Mostly for video games, but also for things like card games and board games! But before she does all that paperwork, she would like to know if anyone would be interested in joining or advising for the club. It would be very helpful to know this before the paperwork gets started.

Also Desco isn't sure, but she's willing to put in the time even if it is hard! Bring it on!

Isn't it strange? Desco doesn't get it either, but this way she gets to be the club president! And she already has a lot of potential members! If she keeps this up, she can run for student council president!

Yeah, gaming isn't exactly a rare hobby. Weird opening or not, at least somebody's thinking of it now.

And if student council president is what you want, go for it, I guess. Somebody's gotta do it.

We do have one right now, but that just means that Desco has a rival for the position! She will run for the position as soon as she can!

Oh, but first she must focus on the gaming club. What kinds of games would you like to see?

A little competition is good. Encourages people to work harder.

I like fighting games and RPGs for video games. Board games I like strategy ones over the all luck stuff.

Yes! And Desco is really good at working hard! She is like a burning blaze of determination!

Oooo, good choices! Desco likes those, too! Luck is unneeded when you work hard and think smart.

A gaming club? A wonderful idea! If you need it and you have't made any other plans with other faculty, I would be delighted to advise you.

I also have plenty of consoles and video games, ranging the NES to the most recent models.

Desco made plans with Professor Atchison, but she doesn't see why the club can't have two advisers! And if it can't, you're still welcome to stop by and play games with us, Professor Moriarty! Desco would be honored to have you!

Come to think of it, it's weird that we didn't already have one of those.

Isn't it? It makes no sense to Desco. Such an injustice cannot stand! And so Desco will right such a wrong!

Also, if you're already holding events, why not join up for sure? Desco would at least have the funds to hold them with the school's help.

...Yeah, why not. I'm in. Might be busy a fair amount of time, but it'd be nice to have some real resources behind planning stuff like this.

Sure am. Training, studying, and working on making new or modifying existing equipment takes up a lot of my time. I set aside some relaxation and gaming time so I can decompress, but there's always something that needs doing.

Rune Guard lifestyle taught me that.

Desco is still recruiting! She wants all the club members she can get! What kind of ideas did you have in mind?

You mean like what kinds of games? Personally I'm into RPGs, but those are usually single-player deals unless you go and do something like having each party member's actions decided by a different person or whatever.

Having people work together to make their way through the same game together does sound like an idea, though...
