Okay fine, so humans only hate like 99.9999% of us then. It's not a big deal.

They all hate my father anyway, which means they hate me too. Even though I never did anything.

So yeah it is a good reason to ask why everyone else wants to help them.

You're making assumptions about humans rather the nonhumans
It's still not black and white either way
There's not one single opinion that every member of a species has
That includes things that seem "obvious" like humans hating daemons or vice versa
There's plenty of reasons people can have a common interest regardless of species
