I would like to address some rumours before they spread further, if you would be so inclined.

One is that whatever cancelled prom this year was NOT my doing, and in fact completely unrelated to the incident last year. To the theory that what transpired led the faculty to worry that the grad banquet was corrupting the youth, have you met our faculty?

Two, yes, after the events of this past spring, I have a big brother again. No, this does not warrant your adding me to your list of Students With Siblings Who Will Buy You Alcohol. And no, just because I keep a supply of holy water does not mean I also keep a supply of church wine. Besides, that is sacred and also tastes disgusting.

Three, I know not where the idea that I will "eat anything" comes from, but I do draw the line somewhere. Refrain from making jokes about the disposal bin and/or things that expired centuries ago. I can tell.

No, it's a sacrament! It's where you get bread and wine at Mass that is consecrated and transformed spiritually before you consume it, so as to memorialize and receive the blessing of the Lord. I thought everybody knew that.

I see. Somebody turned into a bird, attempted to ransack the communal refrigerator in the Lumière dorm, and seemed confused as to the holy water I keep on my person, more so when I attempted to explain it. I understand not.

It is. I suppose the religions followed where you come from would vary?

To those who have them, it is paramount. After all, it reflects one's beliefs, one's moral code, and one's perception of the world and existence.

If you want one. The library is sure to have informative texts about the beliefs and practices of most major religions and sects to see what works for you... though I must warn against the flyers that people give out in an attempt to convert others. Those never have anything of use.
