Most civilians have never been in a serious fight. The likes of us at this school are uncommon among the world at large in that regard. That is a large part of why we fight: to protect those who cannot.
I suppose a civilian might think that of most people here, but even then, most of the Candles and such who come in from normal lives don't try to murder anybody.
