I read in a book that if someone's hurt and trapped, you should let them go.

Is that the right answer? Letting them go?

but its also bad to keep people hurt and trapped so letting them go is good i think

In the story they didn't do anything wrong. I think...a lot of people did bad things to them.

They shouldn't be left to hurt, that's not going to solve a thing. Only adds up to more suffering in the end.

But like the other guys said... it depends on why they're trapped. Did they do something wrong? Are you talking about jail?

In the story, the person was locked away because they were bad. But they weren't.

Or I think they weren't. It's hard to explain.

In the book I was reading, they were put away because they were being bad. But I think they were hurt really badly by the people who put them away first.

They were very angry about it.

but like let's say I get a B- in a class
for me that's pretty damn good but my brother's better about school so that'd be kind of low for him
or how if I get Cs my stepdad gets on my case about my grades but my mom's just glad I'm going to class

Not knowing the situation, I can't be sure, but I can say that there are many cases where there is no right answer to be found.

What feels right to you? Not what that person would want, not what you think would be kindest, not what you think is "correct." What, of all possibilities, makes the most sense?

I wasn't given a clear picture. But the anger they feel is real. They are very, very angry.
