I would for skilled labour but putting leaves in hot water seems something I can handle personally.

I either let it sit too long or not long enough, and it's either too strong or too weak.

So I imagine it's merely a matter of accumulating the necessary data. I imagine numerous people have done so already, so there will probably be some cross-referencing between them to find the correct method.
