...Also can anyone make good tea? If you're a student, there's extra credit involved.

All right. I will finish preparing the tea and be there shortly.

[Seiji will bring the tea in an insulated thermos, to keep it warn, and will not be providing the cups himself, so he hopes the teacher has his own or doesn't mind drinking from the thermos.]

[Yang leaves it at that... but makes sure to leave his door ajar.

"Score," he thinks to himself.]

[Seiji does arrive in less than an hour, but does not enter the room, as that would be rude and presumptuous. He instead knocks politely on the doorway--as it is also rude to knock on an open door and possibly move it.]

Professor Yang, are you in?

I am! Please, come in!

[Yang's office is... a bit of a mess. It's better than home, but there are lots of books stacked up on the shelves and the desk, and he has like two mugs of coffee. One is at least a day old.

It's... a bit well-lived. In like a month, tops.]

[Lived in, indeed. Seiji tries not to stare at the clutter as he walks through, even though the disorganization is enough to make to put his senses on edge. Everything should be in its place, but it is not his place to judge a teacher who is clearly very busy with his duties.]

Greetings, Professor. [He gives a bow, the thermos held in both hands in front of him.] I hope you are in well health.

[Yang takes the thermos held out, gratefully and with... a bit of awe, all told. This is an option! Nice students will make him tea!

This job is great! He opens the thermos, and sniffs.]

Well, I have nothing to complain about. Ah, this smells fantastic! When did you learn to make tea?

[He was in luck to find an at times gullible and overly respectful student who values teachers and their work.]

My grandfather believes greatly in adhering to tradition and making tea is a calming activity. I do hope the brand is to your taste.

I'm sure it will be! Did you get this brand from your grandfather?

[He takes a long sip -- and closes his eyes while he does. Despite his laziness, his sometimes immature attitude, and the rest... Wen-li Yang is a connoisseur of fine teas.

So he lets out a sigh, after a moment, and nods.]

Mm. That's splendid, Mr. Date.

It is a brand he prefers to keep in our home, yes. I brought some with me to the Academy, but had yet to use it.

[It seemed to be an opportune reason to brew a pot of it.]
