I know it is typical to receive chocolates or simple gifts for Valentine's Day, as it the custom, but did any others receive larger gifts from an unknown source?

It is a display shelf for my swords. Beautifully crafted and engraved.

Indeed. I have several areas in my room that would suit it. Even so, it seems rude of me to use it so casually without even giving a proper thank you to the one who provided it.

It's obviously someone who's talked to you more than once. At least to know you have a fondness for blades.

I have thought as much myself. As others have also received gifts, it is likely a generous classmate, but I am unsure why they would feel the need to hide their identity.

Maybe it's someone with a lot of money and doesn't want to be recognized for that?

I had considered it was someone with funds due to the cost of the gift, but yes, perhaps they prefer being unknown because they do not wish to bring attention to their wealth in that way.
