A crate is not the same as a coffin and if it was, I would have stated it as such.

I would rather not think of alternate uses for one. It was not a coffin, simply a wooden crate to hold the sword shelf inside.

I have no idea what the shelf being made of wood would have to do with your statement. Wood is the most common material for a sword shelf to be made of.
