[There's now a convenient hole in Toki's closet ceiling that leads directly into Kano's room. He may have chalk and summoning books, but the blood bank receipts would be unnecessary. It will be done with his own blood.]

[A little while later, there's a knock on Toki and Yuya's door.]

It's open!

[When Noctis enters, he'll find nothing of interest. The room's a bit messy here and there, some cat toys lying around, textbooks, the usual. Toki's in the closet, looking up at the ceiling.]

[The closet, huh.

Noctis wanders over, hovering just outside the closet.]

So...this is the place.

Hello~! Yes! This is Kano's room!

[Toki points up to a hole in the ceiling. There's something over it; a cardboard box.]

I've been standing here for a while and I'm pretty sure he's not in there! So! We just go up and look around for daemon summoning evidence! Sound good!?

[sleepybitch]

[Noctis leans in to get a look at the hole.

He blinks.]

How long has this hole been here?

Not long! Kano made it uhh... a couple weeks ago? I'm not sure!

[Toki leaves the closet, only to return with his desk chair. He stands on it and pushes up the box covering the hole, sliding it over.]

We were supposed to have like a rope ladder or something, but it never got done!

[He lifts himself up into Kano's closet, assuming Noctis will follow.]

[Why does Kano do anything...

Noctis sighs, before hauling himself up after Toki.]

What's our excuse if he comes back?

[Toki doesn't have anything in mind for an excuse. He starts looking through boxes in the closet for anything daemon-related.]

I don't know yet! I'll think of something should the occasion arise~! There's nothing new in here since the last time I broke in! Just more boxes in this one...

Alright. So we're playing this by ear.

[He looks over Toki's shoulder, peering at all the different boxes.]

What's in those?

I think he got of rid of some things. There's not as many!

[He can't remember what's missing, but the next box reveals nails and screws. That's familiar. He sets it aside.]

Nails and screws and things like that. I think there was a box of socks at some point too.

[The next box has something new. Jars of powder. White and yellow. He holds one up for Noctis to inspect.]

Think it's like explosive stuff!? The bee cannon comes before the daemon summoning!

[sleepybitch]

Then where'd it all go?

[Did he use the stuff up already or what?

Noctis couldn't say.

He blinks at the jars of powder, before taking a moment to think. His hand rubs at his chin absently, and then he shrugs.]

It could be. There's a lot of stuff it could be. It's just...powder.

[yokeye]

[Noctis is right, it could be anything. It needs to be examined. Toki takes the jars out of the box.]

We can just take a little of each one and I'll have someone analyze it! I'll be right back!

[He will prove this bee cannon/summoning is happening. He turns back to the hole, only to find it's smaller. By a wide margin. It's closing up by itself.]

Uhh... Nevermind! Look for some kind of containers; that maybe wont be missed!

[sleepybitch]

[Well, things seem to have gone from bad to worse.

Which is unfortunate. Noctis looks at the hole, pressing his lips together, before looking back at Toki.]

Why don't you just take the whole thing? If he asks about it you could blame it on his roommate.

[Which is probably just some poor NPC...]

[yokeye]

He doesn't have a roommate!

[As far as Toki knows. Maybe he does and they're just never home.]

Alright! [Bad decision made.] Here's what we're going to do! I will take the jars...

[He gathers all four of the jars, and looks again at the rapidly closing escape hole.]

I'm sorry, but people on this floor know me and it can't get back to Kano that I was in here! If they see you in the hallway, just tell them you're lost! It's fine! You seem like a nice guy, no one will be suspicious! But I have to go!

[And he's gone, speeding away down the third floor hallway; leaving Noctis in Kano's room by himself with the door wide open.]
