( Kanata squirms in their gangly grasp, about to speak when he gets a sudden clump of hair stuck in his mouth. HE CAN FEEL IT WRIGGLING OF ITS OWN ACCORD IN THERE!!! )

Pffth. Ugh. ( If he accidentally swallows a strand, will it grow inside of him and create a new alien?? Will it entangle and squeeze his insides until he dies?? Half of that is already happening anyway. ) It should be exactly the opposite! You can't just grab people like this, so put me down!

[This is bad news, and Wist's hair fluffs up a little like it's trying to stand on end, just as startled as them.]

[Such a silly phrase, but at least they sound genuinely remorseful about it, and they promptly set Kanata back on his feet.]

( He's initially too distracted to care much about the apology, instead sputtering and trying to figure out if any of that magical hair is still stuck in his mouth. It feels like it, but he can't tell if it's just a phantom feeling or there's something really there. Uwogh. )

( Now that he's been placed back on the ground, Kanata straightens himself and tries to find some composure, even if that strange hair feeling is still there. ) You're some kinda magical, right? -- You aren't a daemon are you?

( If he swallowed daemon hair, he's straight up throwing himself in a vortex somewhere. )

[Luckily, their hair stops acting of it's own accord once it's disconnected from their head unless they're specifically looking to move it. Unluckily, Kanata has most likely swallowed a strand of their hair because there's just So Much Hair.]
