And today happens to be the day before PROM!!! Crazy timing, right?

Soooo, I was wondering if anyone would mind showing me where the nearest dress shop is? And maybe even help me pick out something to wear? Pretty please with a Maraschino cherry on top? <3

I promise I'll find a way to pay you back! I'll even save a dance for you tomorrow night, and I've been told my dancing is pretty awesome!!!!

Well, what kind of stuff are you most interested in? Do you want to see the city, or just stick to the campus?

[Though calling Soleil a city is probably generous.]

Weeeelll, I got to see a little of Soleil earlier...so how about a campus tour?

Alright! [Where to first...Adelaide claps her hands together, before heading off in the direction of the Mythril Cage.] Hopefully this won't be too boring!

[rwbyrose]

Nope. [ she shakes her head. ] It'll be fine, I know it! We can always chat along the way, too?

Of course! [She laughs.] How are you enjoying France so far? It's pretty different from America...

[rwbyrose]

Yup, it is! It's colder here, but I don't really mind it. And everyone I've met so far's been really, really nice!

[transfusionem]

The cold is kind of nice! It's way better than spending the summer melting... [She laughs.] But the people here are great. It's one of the best parts!

[rwbyrose]

Uh-huh! Summer gets reaaaal hot in California. ... Well, it's kinda just hot year round, but you know what I mean!

[transfusionem]

I can imagine! It gets pretty hot in Texas, too. [Obviously.

She stops outside the doors to the Mythril Cage, motioning broadly.]

Anyways! This is the Mythril Cage. It's basically, like, the training grounds? You can practice here, spar here, all that kind of stuff.

[rwbyrose]

[ ooh, neat! ruby's eyes light up a little when she mentions sparring. ]

Ooh, this is perfect! There's plenty of space for me to practice my fireballs! Hehe, that was what I was the most worried about...

[transfusionem]

Yeah, you'll have tons of space! And the place seems to be made with, you know, fireballs in mind so you don't even have to worry about burning the place down.

[rwbyrose]

Really?!

[ oh no. her eyes are sparkling. ]

This is awesome! Somewhere where I can train without holding back! And this time I won't burn part of a forest down!

[Seems she made the right choice of bringing Ruby here, first.

But, UM...]

Way less disasters training here, for sure! Maybe we can spar some time, too?

[ ohoho. at that, ruby flashes her a bright smile. ]

I was kinda hoping you'd say that.

[ there's a certain glint in her eye, one of intrigue and curiosity...but also competition. ]

What's your specialty, Adelaide?

Well, I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at anything yet, but...

[She understands that competitive spirit. Adelaide can't deny she's got a bit of it herself, though it's a bit more muted, now.]

Lately I've been trying to get a handle on spears.

[rwbyrose]

I know a handful of people who used spears. I've never tried it myself, buuuut if you need any tips on wielding things, let me know!

[ wielding things... ]

Crescent Rose and I can show you a few tricks! [ she pats on the scythe that's hoisted onto her back. ]

I'd appreciate it! Every little bit counts, right?

[She'll become OP. It'll be great.]

But first time we spar, you gotta go easy on me, okay?

[ ruby probably won't. i'm so sorry. ]

Maybe we can plan for sometime after prom?

[transfusionem]

[Adelaide deserves it.]

That'd be great! We can have prom, kick the Herald's ass, and then we can go toe to toe!

[rwbyrose]

Sounds like a plan! ... So, what's all this about a Herald? I was told about it when I got here, but I don't really know the details.

[transfusionem]

Apparently he's like...real bad news. A big figure in the upcoming Nightfall, so...Obviously we've got to take him out, stop him from making everything worse.

[She sighs.]

It's just a lot.

[rwbyrose]

Hmm.

[ she seems to contemplate this for a moment, then: ]

I think we can do it.

[transfusionem]

[Adelaide brightens at that, and she nods.]

I think we can. There's so many of us, and we can do so much...The Herald doesn't stand a chance.

[rwbyrose]

Yup!

[ ruby says this like there's absolutely no problem at all. she nods. ]

We were all brought here to stop Nightfall. This is just a small bump in the road we gotta take care of!

[transfusionem]

[Adelaide pumps her fists a little bit.]

Exactly! It might be scary, but...it's doable. Definitely doable.
