In all the chaos of the news and the Veil, I just realized something.
Parent-teacher night is this week.
...Do we still have to hide things from the civilian kids' parents? I understand they're likely to have been briefed on their students having classmates with wings or what have you, but they're probably going to panic if they see students with battle scars or active healing wounds, right? What of going around with weapons? Is that inadvisable? Are people going to insist on touring again? Do we have to hide the infirmary? What do I have to tell my parents not to do in front of the normal ones?
My family has not been normal for centuries. My only frame of reference consists of Candle students and television. Please help.
