IT'S A WARNING
YOU BETTER BE READY
GET YOUR COSTUME NOW OR YOU WILL SUFFER THE ULTIMATE TRICK
DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU

Why are we speaking of tricks?
And costumes for that matter??
Is this something to do with guising? I wouldn't think that especially possible at a school...

You know
TRICK OR TREAT
And then you dress up (don't ask me why) and you have a lot of fun
Like at parties, or getting candy from shops
I thought everybody knew that

Oh! Hallowe'en.
I never got to participate in that sadly...supposedly it just wasn't something to be done out in the countryside. I wasn't aware the shops participated in guising these days though! That's a rather kind gesture for the children.
[.... ...Jonathan did Not know that.]

Also what is guising?
Disguising??
I think it's just putting on a costume, nobody is convinced that you're a vampire or a wolfman or whatever you're dressed up as
Unless you are, but idk if most people in town will believe you if you told them

I don't believe anyone actually thinks the children are what they're dressed as! It's merely meant to be a bit of fun as they collect food door to door- that was what I was told at least... As I said, I never was able to participate.
I suspect that it would be difficult to disguise me as anything other than a bat all the same! I am very small.
