The point of Halloween is dressing up like something you aren't
So if you've already got the gothic aesthetic going, maybe do the opposite?
Dress up as something cute, like a fairy

I'll have to look and see what I can reasonably pull off.

Can't do anything involving hats or hoods, though.

A fairy costume would be super easy. The hardest part would be finding some wings
You can still wear things on your back, right?

Wings are doable. I could probably make some if I can't find any, but they would be solid black if I did.

You might want to look for bat wings instead
Maybe go with a dark dragon feel, or something like that
That's far enough away from your normal look, right?

Well, I mean if I use my power to do it, then the only color they can be is black; I can control shadows and make things using them.

If I make them using anything else, they'd be whatever color the stuff I used is.

Going with something that would incorporate my horns sounds like it should work. Maybe it'd be a little too close to normal, but that way they wouldn't be ruining anything else simply by existing.
