At what point does something get the right to be called a person? What do they need to do to deserve that?

Has anyone ever thought about it?

Someone who doesn't want to be a person doesn't have to be one. They can choose to give it up.

Someone who gives up being a person isn't in a position to think about regretting it. If they haven't yet, maybe they don't dislike being a person as much as they say they do.

Maybe. If you give up your soul to stop being a person, you may not be able to get it back.

Not everyone has a soul, but for some people having a soul is what makes them a person. If they give up the soul, they stop being a person.

But if they give it up, maybe they could become a new kind of person. I have not thought about this before. I don't interact with non-persons much.

You're one of these non-persons I'm guessing?
