have any of you seen james? dude was supposed to go out on an errand for you guys and he hasn't come back yet. pretty unlike him to decide to camp out on the alps at night for shits and giggles. might wanna do a search party for your vice president. also has anyone seen ana? she's not responding to my messages either.

[Well, he might be faculty and not student council, but this message catches his eye as he burns the midnight oil. Valvatorez, after all, scarcely needed sleep. He took a minute to check the network, about fifteen minutes after Keith posted his message.

That is quite unlike James. And very troubling. And Anastasia has not been responding either?

What can you tell me about the last you knew of either of them? There's a possibility it might be nothing, but if there's even the slightest possibility it's something, I will raise the other faculty members to look into it as well.

[Enough had happened lately that even the smallest possibility for alarm must be looked at seriously. Much less knowing both James and Ana were generally responsible and reliable individuals. ...Not to mention two of his favorite students.]

james went home on the 27th for thanksgiving, he was supposed to come back on an early flight back to france today cuz he "didn't want to miss class" but said he had some student council errand to do before he could meet up. jailbreak's saying he didn't even go to class so i don't know if he was even here. all i know is that when i messaged him at 4, he never responded not sure what ana's deal is. said she was going to visit her boyfriend for thanksgiving. just thought she'd be back by now, but her roommate says she hasn't heard from her in a few days.

i dont know what's going on, but i don't like it.

I don't either. James' record for attendance is nearly spotless, and unless he was sick or was on mission, he wouldn't be missing it. And if either of those things would happen, someone would've heard about it, be it you, or Jailbreak.

I will be informing other faculty of this. If there's something foul going on, we'll get to the bottom of it.

I will keep you in the loop, Keith. I suspect you'll be looking into things yourself as well?

[if it'd been a different set of circumstances, he'd honestly be laughing at the fact that james' attendance record is what's making his concerns seem warranted rather than paranoid. he didn't expect to be taken seriously by the faculty on this one, which is vaguely disorienting and makes him wonder if he's missing some other part of this himself, but for now he'll take it.]
