It's so good, if you get 'em from the bakery or make it yourself. It's these thin layers of dough, nuts, and held together with honey as it's baked - Mom's version adds some cinnamon and cloves to the mix.

Every country in the middle east will claim they originally made it, it's that good.

See what I mean? Honestly, can't say where my family will claim it's from - Mom does it Armenian style, sometimes adding Rosewater Iranian-style if the stuff's not too much.

Its kind of nebulous about Jordan-Saudi Arabia border - little more into the Saudi side, Dad's been about everywhere before and was the one who introduced us to the different types.

Yep, Los Angeles - Uncle from my mom's side was already there.

A little bit, but I was in an ESL class for most of elementary school.

Yeah it was pretty rough, but thankfully I got a knack for languages, and the neighborhood I'm in had a high immigrant population - so the school's well-equipped.

Given the choice - heard the magic schools in England are full of snotty assholes - I'm not 100% human - and I pick up languages pretty easily now.

This seems like the best place to stay for what I need.

Guess if this is the place you came for leads, he'd have to be uncommonly difficult to track. Anything to do with the Outlands? I could see that complicating things.

How hard is it to make?

you're better off buying the phyllo dough than trying to make it unless you really wanna get good at it - homemade's better, but phyllo's a bitch to work with.

the dough's paper-thin and you gotta layer it, so they tear easily if you're not careful.

otherwise, it's actually not too hard to make

I'm fine with buying it, but homemade is always better!
