in theory we probably have plenty of well-adjusted ppl, but you are literally never going to talk to them because they just keep their heads down and don't get noticed. like, no one remembers the network post where someone says "my life was ok, i saw a dog once". it just doesn't fucking stick.

re: the skin thing, not a medic but i think it depends on how much skin you lose. plus whether it gets infected, how deep the wound was, etc etc so i guess the answer is "probably but sometimes no because fuck you, biology".
