Real talk:

Does anyone here not have some kind of fucking childhood trauma bullshit? Goddamn, this is fucking pathetic to watch.

[YOU ARE LITERALLY ONE OF THEM, JOLYNE...]

Also, anyone that's got some anatomy knowledge, I have a quick question: how long does it generally take for someone to bleed out from a minor wound? Enough to need stitches but not enough to require surgery otherwise. Asking for my own curious brain, I swear to fuck I haven't done anything to warrant this question. Just idle weird thoughts.

Okay, actually, one more question. Skin grows back, doesn't it??????

in theory we probably have plenty of well-adjusted ppl, but you are literally never going to talk to them because they just keep their heads down and don't get noticed.
like, no one remembers the network post where someone says "my life was ok, i saw a dog once".
it just doesn't fucking stick.

btw i saw a dog today and it was awesome.

re: the skin thing, not a medic but i think it depends on how much skin you lose.
plus whether it gets infected, how deep the wound was, etc etc
so i guess the answer is "probably but sometimes no because fuck you, biology".

[Jailbreak sends an attachment. It's a cellphone picture of a golden retriever peeing on a police car.]

he is a good boi and i respect him.

i think skin cells are supposed to auto-die if they divide too many times??
and if they don't then cancer happens????
i'm not a biologist.
...but i AM somebody with the number for a mortician that takes cash and doesn't ask questions, so i can confidently say that you could have a body that has everything scooped out of it and is now a Terrible Skinsuit if you have money and call a guy between the hours of 3 and 5 AM.

[ okay no he can't take this any more ]

You shed dead skin cells every day. Exfoliation is something many people do to get rid of dead skin that still stays on the body.

So yes they flake off naturally.

i dunno, that means you're basically covered in a death layer at all times.
that's kinda metal.

"oh yeah, just using this scrubbing brush to exfoliate away my death layer"

I am curious

What did you think happened to dead skin before this
spelleton: ready for (☀ i'm ready now)

I've been working as a medical professional at this school for four years and a medic for longer

Not much surprises me at this point I have to say

It's not an entirely off-base guess. Some cells do work that way.

Dead skin cells fall off you, however, since they're an outer layer. It's part of what makes up dust.
[ People just shed all the time. That happens. ]
