Similar to diary-keeping, but public, much like the intranet here. Though usually on the worldwide internet instead.

I suppose some people wish to share the details of their lives.

Why?

For one, most people do not have secrets to keep as we do... others just like the social aspect.

Humanity has gotten strange over the years.

Humanity has been the same throughout history in some ways, has it not?

I missed a few centuries.

Perhaps that was rude; I apologize. It simply seems that a great many people require help with the modern world as of late.

Such is the way of things. These are curious times.

When the world is saved and restored to peace, perhaps normalcy in some sense will follow.

I am not so sure such a thing is possible.

Surely it is; it is our mission and our purpose to save all creation, after all.

Better to accept the fate of a hero than to reject it waiting for another to do it for you, or to lament that no one will.

It would have sounded conceited, though! I'm going for duty-bound and committed to protect the world.

No, it doesn't! The world needs people to save it, and that is why we are here. For many of us, why we exist!

Believe what you must, but there are very few ways believing yourself to be a savior that don't make you seem self-centered.
