Hey, newbie here with four (4) questions! I'll try to make this short and sweet.

1.) What's the top 5 books in the library that you absolutely have to have read?
2.) How much does the STAR Club actually work with Runes in practice?
3.) Best free time places in Soleil? I'm fresh from the USA, France is all new for me.
4.) Any recently enrolled undergraduates up for a study group kind of thing? Can totally be casual and involve nice cafés etc. I figure I'm not the only one who came here from half the world away and needs to meet new people.

Re 1: Appreciate the rune focus, thanks :) I read the first one at home though.

Re 2: I'll consider joining then. I didn't get a lot of chances to practice at home, it was all mostly theoretical.

Re 4: No way, I'd kick any partiers out. A bit of fun and bonding is fine, but we're all at this school to actually hone our abilities.

2. Theoretically Inscriptions? Seems like a waste of time. Good thing you can stop that now.

4. Good. We need more people telling people to do their work instead of cramming last minute. Not like we don't already have enough things happening to distract us here. Daybreak is busy as hell.

True, I didn't. The list would have been a bit too exhaustive, it was easier to take my chances with recommendations.

My father's been very strict on me having a 'normal life' until college, to get to know human society properly, so he limited me with Runes. Quotes around 'normal life' are definitely intentional though.

And is the procrastination habit so bad with the others?

"Normal" is code speak for the epitome of boring. You're lucky to be here now where the norm is whatever you want to make it.

Procrastinators are obvious. You'll now them when you meet them. It's not everybody though. People get distracted by everything that happens around here.

Flexible norms will take some adjusting. I don't dislike the mundane world by any means.
