Hey, newbie here with four (4) questions! I'll try to make this short and sweet.

1.) What's the top 5 books in the library that you absolutely have to have read?
2.) How much does the STAR Club actually work with Runes in practice?
3.) Best free time places in Soleil? I'm fresh from the USA, France is all new for me.
4.) Any recently enrolled undergraduates up for a study group kind of thing? Can totally be casual and involve nice cafés etc. I figure I'm not the only one who came here from half the world away and needs to meet new people.

1. The Field Guide to Uncommonly Beautiful Common Supernatural Phenomena in the Outlands, History of Godzilla: The Ultimate Stomping Ground Reference Material, The Martian Chronicles, Runic Basics for Everyday Use, and Outland Zoology for Beginners. Definitely!
2. No idea on this one!
3. I've only been here about...six weeks? So I don't know about the very best ones, but there's a good sushi place, the movie theater is fun, and I've heard good things about the amusement park!
4. I'd love to get into a study group!
5. Welcome to Daybreak! I'm Orihime, I've lived in France for about three years now.

1. I haven't really gotten a chance to look at the library so I can't help you with this. I imagine there's more books about magic than I could imagine.
2. Also can't help here, sorry.
3. I saw a few cute little cafes in Soleil that might be a good place to people watch!
4. I'd love a study group! All of this is really new to me and it's kind of overwhelming.

[You might have to check the profile to realize this is actually Admiral Wen-li Yang, because Yang is using a less-than-professional user name. He is the best at being an adult.]

Oh, hello, James! Glad you arrived.

I'll let the other students answer your questions. How was the flight over?

I'm not new. I've been here since I was 11, actually. But I'm always up for meeting new people anyways.

1. Hiding in Plain Sight: The Supernatural Through the Centuries, The Science of Magic, Improvisational Combat: How to Make Any Terrain Work for You, Dream Interpretation Encyclopedia, and I can't think of a fifth one right now. Those will all take a while to get through anyway.

2. No idea.

3. I can recommend a good sweets shop. Have you ever tried callisons?

4. Maybe.

5. What are your powers?

[Sarona has been completely caught up in her studies, tutoring and everything else, so of course it's days later when she spies this on the network because she hasn't been paying much attention to it. But considering the questions, how could she NOT respond?]

1. Runic Languages: An Advanced Introduction (1 and 2), Say The Magic Word: A History of Spells Spoken and Written, Technology and Magic: Creating A More Perfect Union (half the book is about runes, since you seem interested), Traveler's Guide to The Outlands: The Who, What, Where, and Why Would You Go There?, and Golem-making for Enthusiasts.

2. STARR does plenty with runes when the people wanting to use runes decide to use them. There's no set agenda until someone gets an idea for something. I use runes all the time.

3. There's a great breakfast restaurant that makes crepes and let you put literally anything in them called Laissez Faire, if you're feeling adventurous.

4. I've been here for over two years by now so I'm not new, but study groups can be fun, if people actually care about studying. Or you a "study group is just a weekly scheduled party" type?
