Hey, newbie here with four (4) questions! I'll try to make this short and sweet.

1.) What's the top 5 books in the library that you absolutely have to have read?
2.) How much does the STAR Club actually work with Runes in practice?
3.) Best free time places in Soleil? I'm fresh from the USA, France is all new for me.
4.) Any recently enrolled undergraduates up for a study group kind of thing? Can totally be casual and involve nice cafés etc. I figure I'm not the only one who came here from half the world away and needs to meet new people.

Isn't it? I've wanted to go here all my life and I'm still a little lost now.

The school is amazing but coming here right from a mundane life is pretty jarring.

My life was as mundane as it could be, but now there's just all of This. It's kind of wild.

My dad's in the Rune Guard so I knew of Secret Societies in growing up, but I mostly just lived a mundane life as well. The supernatural was mostly conversations between my dad's dinner guests.

You only found out right before coming here?

I had no idea any of this was real until a couple months ago! Magic and vampires and demons and everything like that were just stories. I mean, I always thought it would be cool if it was real? But, you know.

Didn't think it was.

Barely anyone does. People who do get laughed at, which is pretty awkward to watch when you know and just have the brain to stay silent about it.

What made you find out?

Does that happen a lot?

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to keep it a secret or not, but I had a run in with some vampires at my old college.

If you go to school in Middle-of-Nowhere Arizona, yes. Kids have to keep themselves entertained, it seems.

And that sounds pretty creepy. Not the funnest way to have this realization.

I mean, Arizona. I can't blame them for that.

It wasn't great, to be entirely honest, but everything after that has been pretty cool?

Point taken. Though the desert doesn't exactly scream demon aesthetic.

And well, good that you got something out of it. You deserve the repayment. Do you have a Flame or are you attending for different reasons?

I don't know, don't demons like the heat?

Different reasons, mostly. Seems I've got a hidden knack for this stuff.

They should, but folklore seems to mostly place them in forests and the likes.

And congratulations on that. I was going to end up here with or without a Flame but a lot of people aren't so lucky.

Well forests are an appropriately spooky setting for stories about demons, so I can't blame the stories for all being set there.

And true, about the forests. Just coming to France and seeing this many trees makes it feel a bit more magical, stupid as that is to say.

Oh! That would be awesome! I bet there's all sorts of cool trails out there.

Maybe there's even an old ruin or something. There's supposed to be many of those in Europe.

Though we shouldn't be reckless, so I'd definitely ask around what spots to avoid because of danger.

Considering what this place is like, I wouldn't be surprised if there were nothing but old ruins around. Probably even on campus.

And better safe than sorry! I'm still looking forward to it, though.

Definitely! Avoiding demons beyond our skill level doesn't mean it won't still feel a bit mysterious~

I think avoiding them will just make the whole thing seem a bit more fairy tale, don't you?

True! Not like Hänsel and Gretel were demon hunters when they walked through their woods either.
