How do you take care of a cat?

[He could probably google this but y'all are like right there.]

...wait, people do that? That's a terriblr idea. Cats need those. Most animals with claws do.

Look, don't remove the cats claws. If they start scratching anything important there are much better ways of dealing with it that don't involve removing bodyparts.

I mean...theoretically? But I wouldn't suggest it. They're small ambush predators, so they're not built for it. If you want them do anything besides be a pet? Let them hunt pests.

Assuming it's a normal cat, anyways. Magic cats? You can throw everything I just said out the window.

You"re assuming they didn't just catch it by surprise.

Even if they didn't, there are people in New Berk who managed to catch and lock up full-grown drakes before we stopped fighting them. And while I doubt the guys who catnapped your cat were Viking Warriors, it's just a normal cat. There's only so much they can actually do.

...that'd probably help.

[It wasn't like Hiccup could say anything against venomous pets. Half the people in Berk had venomous pets, including his own wife.]
