Also, anyone that's got some anatomy knowledge, I have a quick question: how long does it generally take for someone to bleed out from a minor wound? Enough to need stitches but not enough to require surgery otherwise. Asking for my own curious brain, I swear to fuck I haven't done anything to warrant this question. Just idle weird thoughts.

Okay, actually, one more question. Skin grows back, doesn't it??????

If the blow strikes an artery, it will be fast. Otherwise, such deep wounds take much longer, hours or even days. Though if there is no attempt to stem the bleeding, hours is likely.

I'd say let's assume we're not hitting any arteries here and there's no septic or infection shit to factor into the equation... And just a sorta deep enough to need stitches wound.

So probably still hours?

If there is no treatment, nor clotting, then yes. The body's own supply of blood will run dry eventually.
