Real talk:

Does anyone here not have some kind of fucking childhood trauma bullshit? Goddamn, this is fucking pathetic to watch.

[YOU ARE LITERALLY ONE OF THEM, JOLYNE...]

Also, anyone that's got some anatomy knowledge, I have a quick question: how long does it generally take for someone to bleed out from a minor wound? Enough to need stitches but not enough to require surgery otherwise. Asking for my own curious brain, I swear to fuck I haven't done anything to warrant this question. Just idle weird thoughts.

Okay, actually, one more question. Skin grows back, doesn't it??????

I did not have any remarkable childhood trauma. ...I probably caused an inordinate amount of childhood trauma by being a metaphorical monster under the bed, but fortunately there's not many people alive who are dealing with that anymore.

...Unless we're counting students that don't like my exams.

Cannot blame you for being surprised. Daemons are indeed very strange and diverse and some of them do spawn fully grown, which always struck me as a bit odd, but who am I to judge.

[Another daemon and an expert on the subject, is who, but hey, the supernatural be supernatural.]

My childhood was rather unremarkable, however. I grew up fast, and quickly set about to make my ambitions realized. Not much of a profile to be had there, really.

About a century or two. Aging speed for daemons can be a little... strange. But I grew out of childhood quicker than average for a daemon of my kind.

I suspect it's because I put forth the effort to get stronger earlier than most. Daemon children can sometimes be horribly lazy.

It's a mixture of power, age, and mental maturity. Daemons will grow into adulthood eventually on their own, but physical aging into your prime can be achieved faster if you set out for it.

And it can be maintained longer too. Become powerful enough, and you become effectively ageless and can remain in your prime for thousands of years very easily.

[Which probably explains how Valvatorez can be over 2,500 and still look as good as he does.]
