Hey, newbie here with four (4) questions! I'll try to make this short and sweet.

1.) What's the top 5 books in the library that you absolutely have to have read?
2.) How much does the STAR Club actually work with Runes in practice?
3.) Best free time places in Soleil? I'm fresh from the USA, France is all new for me.
4.) Any recently enrolled undergraduates up for a study group kind of thing? Can totally be casual and involve nice cafés etc. I figure I'm not the only one who came here from half the world away and needs to meet new people.

I'm not new. I've been here since I was 11, actually. But I'm always up for meeting new people anyways.

My life was as mundane as it could be, but now there's just all of This. It's kind of wild.

My dad's in the Rune Guard so I knew of Secret Societies in growing up, but I mostly just lived a mundane life as well. The supernatural was mostly conversations between my dad's dinner guests.

You only found out right before coming here?

[ .... should he point out that it's a saying.... should he........... Nah, no reason to awkwardly derail a new acquaintanceship. ]

I can fly, though I'm still training it.

A healer, huh? That's pretty cool. How does it work?

That's a given. We have an honorable duty here after all.

Do the monsters attack that often though?

[onebetter]

That's kind of enviable. I wish I could have gone earlier, but I was always told to wait until college.

I spent a lot of time on the settling part and very little on the seeing of France, I admit.

Did my best to get acquainted with the school and curriculum first of all, it ate up 90% of my time. I don't want to waste time catching up.

If I want to go sightseeing some weekend in the future, do you have any recommendations?

I had no idea any of this was real until a couple months ago! Magic and vampires and demons and everything like that were just stories. I mean, I always thought it would be cool if it was real? But, you know.

Didn't think it was.

Barely anyone does. People who do get laughed at, which is pretty awkward to watch when you know and just have the brain to stay silent about it.

What made you find out?

Does that happen a lot?

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to keep it a secret or not, but I had a run in with some vampires at my old college.

If you go to school in Middle-of-Nowhere Arizona, yes. Kids have to keep themselves entertained, it seems.

And that sounds pretty creepy. Not the funnest way to have this realization.

I mean, Arizona. I can't blame them for that.

It wasn't great, to be entirely honest, but everything after that has been pretty cool?

Ah, you're so motivated and industrious. That's good! Don't be like me. I've been here two months and am still living out of boxes.

All of Western Europe is basically a helicopter ride away, so you have your pick. Paris and Vienna, if you've never seen them.

But I'd start in Soleil, myself.

Well, often enough that you already had to deal with them in this short span than. Quite the change of pace from usual school life.

Point taken. Though the desert doesn't exactly scream demon aesthetic.

And well, good that you got something out of it. You deserve the repayment. Do you have a Flame or are you attending for different reasons?

I'm going to check Soleil out this weekend, I'm gathering a few recommendations here already.

But more importantly: Professor... do you need help unpacking?

How bad can it be if your stuff is still mostly boxed? That's better than having it strewn across all rooms.

Well...

That's how it used to be, and a lot of things-- [Smash Ultimate came out.] --came up right before I moved here, so I didn't organize the boxes as much as throw things into different boxes.

For example, I have my mixer's bowl and the paddle attachment, but haven't found the mixer yet.

[ Is this...... really an adult? A part of James feels like some of his world view will be shattered irrevocably if he takes a step into this apartment, but... ]

You have done a lot for our family and my father has always spoken highly of you. You could even go so far as to say we are indebted to you for your years of cooperation.
