Hola, everyone. I'm that one evening TA from Aube, for those who don't know.

I'm sure by now we've all noticed the little issue of extra little ones running around. Now obviously there's no good way to explain all of this, so I thought maybe we could all gather our stories here so we don't get our wires crossed. You know, share names and other details and stuff.

I also thought it might help if some of us could maybe use babysitters in given times. That way there's less of... pretty much all of us running around.

Also, remember that lots of these kids can probably figure out the internet so mind what you say.

I'll go first:

I'm "Señor R.", I'm looking after "Héctor (just Héctor) who also goes by Teto". He is "an entirely normal kid with no special abilities or anything so nothing to worry about there but he's a bit of trouble sometimes and may need wrangling" and I'm "not at all available during the day and could really use someone who is".

You all do the same but replace whatever's in quotations with the appropriate names and details. Then we can sort of reference back here as we go.

He didn't wish for the deal to be gone.
He uses those illusion powers from it all the time.
I'm actually fairly sure no one is thrilled with the child influx.

Oh! You had a Contract with him? Oops! Sorry about that. You can try again with the little one of you need it that badly! But don't worry! The wish wasn't about getting rid of his deal, just getting rid of him. They'll all see soon!

[Well, he does a bit, but that's not really the important thing here.]

What, are the adult versions going to be overtaken by the child ones?

... Of course not. Don't be boring. They're here to help you remember and free you, not to bring you harm. I only got rid of that one because it's what was asked of me in exchange for letting the child out of the tiny box. And as much as he might wish, it won't last forever. I wouldn't want it to.

EXACTLY? Ughhh hold on Poe has to help me find it again... "If he could grow up with peace and joy and surrounded by so many good people? I asked him to let the child go, and in exchange, I would do my very best. I don't lie! I'm just doing what I agreed to do!

The older one! He does this shit ALL THE TIME and I don't understand!

Well I still will say it's not allowed but at least I find your impulse a little more understandable. He's a very strange young human! Their lives are so short already, but he doesn't care for his at all! But... I wasn't allowed to turn him into a lizard.

It is so hard to keep him alive.
I've been trying to pay more attention to what he's doing, but I do have other things going on, can't just watch him all day long.


I do like the younger one. But that's a whole different thing.

At least for now, you don't have to worry. He can't make himself dead if he doesn't exist! And then he'll be back and you can kill him and go back to keeping him alive. One of those is probably a metaphor! I do empathize, incidentally. I wish it was easier to watch over all these children...

All the ones I watch are like that. Don't know why.

I wouldn't mind if the smaller him stuck around.
Except if it meant the older him couldn't.

[He doesn't feel regret often, generally speaking, but he's starting to think...he could have done a lot better when he first met Kano. It was all different, of course, he couldn't have cared then because he didn't know him. So there's no point feeling bad about it.

Except he sort of does now? This is the first time he's given it much thought since it happened.]

I'm happy to hear it. I love all of them, as strange as that may be when I know nothing about them. It would be nice if they could stay longer... But at least he will always exist as a part of himself. We don't have to give up on him! Maybe!! If you tell him these things, he'll feel better? Who knows?!

[He's never known how to have any kind of real conversation with Kano. Granted, he barely knows how to discuss feelings to begin with; that flippant attitude just doesn't help.]

You talked to Kano for three seconds, how do you think that conversation would play out?

Hmm... "LOL is that what you think??? How great! Looks like I've fooled you ~ It's okay to like that one more, he's been a lot less trouble for you! ☆☆☆" How'd I do?
