It doesn't cost me anything to make them as I use school resources and I usually learn something from the development process that furthers my own education. Additionally, strengthening my allies is a net benefit for me anyway.

Everyone else has been getting combat equipment though, so I suppose if this was merely a convenience item it would be reasonable to charge.
