I... suppose I should introduce myself if I'm new, right? That'd be the polite thing to do.
My name is Kisara and I'm not that interesting, I promise. I also apologize if we meet in person and my English is a bit... rusty, it's not my first language and I'm still working on some words and phrases that are a little strange when translated. Not that... we don't have anything weird when translated from my native language, too.
With... that out of the way, is there any particular languages that are spoken here frequently other than obviously French and English? I didn't get to travel much before here so I'm always curious about how other countries are?
I'm rambling, sorry. Just wanted to do that introduction and apologize in advance?

[Part of this perception may, in fact, be from having a 5 year old's vocabulary for the last while.]
I'm Reira. There's lots of countries in books but I think the places called 'outlands' have more.
I don't know why it's all called 'the outlands', everything is different in 'the outlands'.

... Outlands, I remember hearing that term before, but I can't entirely recall what it was. Just something that was not human, whatever that means. [Kisara, no.]
no subject
Like places with big mushrooms, or candy houses, or upsidedown stairs.
There's a lot of other places but I don't have words for those ones. They were just other places.
no subject
I don't know if that's even the words I'm looking for...

There is no need to apologize.

I just don't want to mess up and accidentally say something that might upset someone without them knowing. It's... happened before, sadly.

Speaking of that, Japanese seems to be a pretty common language around here. As is German.
And oh yeah, you can call me "Gunvolt" or "GV," whichever you prefer. Good to meet you!
[His profile will list his actual first name as "Gustav," of course, but the nickname's definitely what he seems to prefer.]
no subject
Gunvolt. I'll try and remember that, it's pretty unique, so it shouldn't be much of a problem! It's nice to meet you as well!
[Hey, at least it's something she won't question and use whatever he wants her to. So there's that.]

What was your first language, if you don't mind my asking?
no subject
Ah! Arabic, actually!

There are quite a variety of languages within the school. It's quite fascinating! But aside from English and French, it appears to be Japanese that is most commonly used.
What language do you speak, my friend?
no subject
I've heard, which is rather interesting so far! As for me, my primary language is Arabic, which I... think is rather out of place around here until you get closer to the Middle-Eastern countries?
no subject
I believe so? I admit I have not traveled down that way in a long time. [Even if time is irrelevant to someone who is immortal.]
I do know a number of languages however, so if you are struggling with something I would be happy to leand a hand.
no subject
Ah, thank you. It's... really nothing special.
You'd honestly do that? I mean, I need to learn eventually, so I wouldn't want to waste your time or anything... [Sorry, Grimm, this is going to be a continual thing here.]

Well enough? I'm by myself in this dorm but it... seems calm enough so far? A lot of adjusting, but it seems okay.

It's a story I'd rather not tell, but I'll try and work on that, I hadn't noticed it was so much...
no subject
but you shouldnt have to say sorry if you didn't do anything wrong.

I speak English, French and Japanese, but I'm teaching myself German and Spanish right now.
[As many languages as possible to bridge the communication gaps.]
