You know, at first I thought I had you all wrong. I thought these April pranks were cool and that you finally understood stuff. I thought we could have a good time and we wouldn't even leave any corpses behind. But noooo. I mean, come on, you guys switch bodies and stuff it's "just a prank" and "all in good fun" but when I want to make a friend I'm "evil" and "a danger to everyone around me". You guys are lame. This isn't a fun trick at all. >::(

[They definitely stole Héctor's phone to send this.]

[ Definitely a child....or at least, someone avoiding the clear consequence of their powers. ]

No I think the part you ignore as not important

is key to understanding why people don't like your friendship actually.

[ That's all the non-answer he needs. ]

Your possession destroys them then.

I thought so.

[ He does pity them, in a way. Whether it's out of a concerted attempt to ignore their actions or because they don't know how to process it...they do seem to be rather more attached than most. ]

I see.

You are aware you can befriend people without possessing them?

You have a body without a host and you exist well enough.

[ He doesn't get paid enough to give a daemon child psychological counseling. ]

You've never talked to people outside of your hosts have you.

Conversation that doesn't involve granting their deepest wishes and desires and trading you their body.

So exactly one friendly conversation that didn't involve doing something for your hosts or killing people.

How old are you exactly

41 years old.

I've had more amiable conversations in four decades of life than you've had in several centuries which is telling.

You might as well admit you have poor social skills.

It's nothing to be ashamed of. That's what school is for.

[ There's such a lot to unwrap here.

Daemons, huh.
]

I see.

All that aside possessing people isn't actually an acceptable form of friendship especially if you end up consuming them in the process.

Just to make that clear.

[ Is he really going to have to explain the complex entanglements of things like 'even if it feels good, it may not be good for you?' How to explain that when people are in pain or hurting, they look for other things to fill the gap, and other people...

Well, that's a headache for later, he supposes.
]

Well you've experienced the ones who let you in on purpose.

These are people who didn't want you there and didn't ask. Having someone merged with your body, being able to control it and listen to your thoughts, is invasive. Unpleasant. Even if you think it's fine, others may not.

Do you understand?
