[In a way, finding out it is Toki is not a surprising as it should be, perhaps because he only has so many fellow students he has become friends with. Toki is on a short list of potential people. But having him write "I LIKE YOU" is a very different situation altogether.]

I would rather not think of alternate uses for one. It was not a coffin, simply a wooden crate to hold the sword shelf inside.

I have no idea what the shelf being made of wood would have to do with your statement. Wood is the most common material for a sword shelf to be made of.
