With all of the extra time due to the break, I'm looking for new projects. Apparel, mechanical devices, weaponry, etc. I'm also willing to research spells or other topics.

If it's for personal use, I'll work out a price of some sort but equipment for use in serving the academy's goals I don't see any reason to take from people when it benefits us all anyway.

You don't necessarily need to know what you want- if you've just got a problem, creating a solution would be my part of the process.

I'm not asking you to build what I'm about to send to you, but I'd like it if you can offer commentary for improvement and a feasibility assessment, before I start asking for formal designs. I'm trying to see if this is something I can convince the school to pay for.

Let me know if you charge a consulting fee for this sort of work, or if this is out of your wheelhouse.

[Yang sends (via DM) a document outlining an airship. It's intended to be sized to carry a few dozen people and reasonably well-armed. The proposal outlines that it's for dropping students off on missions, as fire support and being a mobile command center. It's titled "Hyperion" because Yang is a huge nerd.]

Incidentally, following our prior conversation, I've actually made you something already. Custom tea machine. I thought it'd be easier than creating a method to follow. The final version is complete. No charge, as I made it before I started charging at all.

I honestly do not think in the face of the apocalypse as an alternative anything can be called too much.

It does the job. About two cup's worth each time, but it's very portable.

I don't know what tea is supposed to taste like though so it might be awful.

You've given me plenty already, but I'll admit I'm curious about this apparel. Do you mean like...armor?

Most of the combat suits I've created here so far have been more lightweight than what I'd call armour, but essentially yes.
