I have a few things to discuss with everyone at large, so I believe the network will be the best avenue to approach this.

Firstly, my classes will be put on hold for a while - most likely only a week or two, barring any unforseen complications.

The reason for this is that I will be having spinal surgery done by Ekkehardt in a few days, so while I assume the recovery process will not be long - it never hurts to be thorough about such things.

Second, I would also like to extend an invitation to anyone who is curious to come and watch the procedure - I'm told that my condition is a bit...unusual, and I believe it could potentially be a fine learning experience for those interested.

And Third also ties into the procedure itself, as Ekkehardt will have to behead me in order for for him to have enough time to carry it out, as my death is the only thing that halts my regeneration for a bit. Though this sounds extreme, I am actually caught in a liminal state between life and death - A sort of odd undead, though I am still human enough to pass within general society. If this disturbs you, then I would suggest not attending.

Lastly, I wish to extend my well wishes towards the students and faculty for the new year, and hope that we can all strive towards excellence - both academically and personally.

Oh, you follow my streams? I most likely will be able to do some streams when I'm recovering as long as I'm propped up, I suppose. Though I did have to cancel my appearance at the major stream this year due to the Galra problems and learning that this was something that needed to be taken care of.

I believe I also announced on the stream that I would be hiatusing for a bit due to medical issues?

...Also, I'm not quite sure - through with some of the people interested in the procedure, I'm certain there will be video that you can peruse.

I understand your blasé attitude given your curious situation, but I also can't help but feel this entire scenario is surreal. Either way, I may attend the surgery. With a situation as rare as yours, it's doubtful I'd get another chance at learning from this.

Not a problem - I am coming quite free with my background, so why not?

Anyway, I am - in most cases - functionally human seeming without needing to upkeep a glamor. I look hale and healthy, feel warm to the touch, and while I do not need to breathe, I am able to if I so wish.

However, I have no heartbeat - and when I suffer enough damage to kill any normal human, I legitimately die for a time. I go into a dark, weightless, cold sleep - but am always dragged back to the world of the living once my body has recovered enough to function.

It seems to be due to that when I...'changed,' for lack of a better word, I was at the verge between dying and being alive - and that 'state' carried over.

....Hm - well, any improvement would have to not interfere with my magic, and I still do have a functional nervous system that could potentially impair any variances I could make.
